This service "Shabemon" (the "Service") automatically reads messages posted in Discord text channels aloud in voice channels.
- A Discord account is required to use the Service.
- Users shall comply with the Discord Terms of Service and these Terms.
- Minors using the Service shall do so with the consent of their parent or legal representative.
- Free plan: free of charge for up to 5 days per month.
- Plus plan: JPY 200/month (tax included), purchased per server (seat-based).
- Plus plan billing is processed by credit card via Stripe and charged at the time of subscription.
- The Plus plan renews automatically every month. Unless the user cancels, the same amount will continue to be charged monthly.
- Users may cancel the Plus plan at any time. Plus features remain available until the end of the current billing period after cancellation.
- Due to the nature of digital services, refunds are not provided as a rule. However, individual responses will be made if double-billing or similar errors occur on the operator's side.
- Acts that violate the Discord Terms of Service or Community Guidelines
- Read-aloud of messages that infringe on the rights of others (copyright, portrait rights, privacy, honor, etc.)
- Sending spam, harassing third parties, or impersonation through the Service
- Reverse engineering, unauthorized access, or imposing excessive load on the Service
- Using the Service for illegal purposes or purposes contrary to public order and morals
- Other acts that the operator reasonably determines to be inappropriate
- The operator may change the content of the Service or suspend its provision. The operator will endeavor to announce significant changes in advance on the Service.
- If a user engages in prohibited acts or violates these Terms, the operator may suspend the user's access or terminate the contract without prior notice.
- If a Discord account is suspended or deleted, use of the Service will also automatically terminate.
- The Service is provided as-is, and we do not warrant the quality, accuracy, or availability of the read-aloud function.
- The operator is not responsible for issues caused by outages of third-party services such as Discord, Stripe, AWS, or Cloudflare.
- Except in cases of willful misconduct or gross negligence by the operator, the operator's liability for damages arising from the use of the Service is limited to the amount of usage fees paid by the user in the most recent one month prior to the occurrence of the damage.
- This section does not apply to the extent it is rendered invalid by the Consumer Contract Act or other mandatory laws.
- The user represents and warrants that they are not a member of organized crime groups, their associates, or any other anti-social forces.
- If a user is found to be associated with anti-social forces, the operator may terminate the contract without prior notice.
- The operator may change these Terms.
- Significant changes will be communicated to users by posting on the Service or by requesting renewed consent.
- If the user continues to use the Service after the announcement of a change, they are deemed to have agreed to the revised Terms.
- Notifications from the operator to the user will be made by posting on the Service's website or by sending an email to the address registered with the user's Discord account.
- Notifications posted on the website are deemed to have reached the user at the time of posting.
- These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Japan.
- Any disputes related to the Service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the district court having jurisdiction over the operator's location as the court of first instance.
- If any provision of these Terms is held invalid or unenforceable, the validity of the remaining provisions shall not be affected.
The original language of these Terms is Japanese. Translations into English or any other language are provided solely for the user's convenience; in the event of any inconsistency between the Japanese version and any translation, the Japanese version shall prevail.
